Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of the Glendalough Advisory website.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at www.glendaloughadvisory.com and any related pages we operate (the "Site"). The Site is owned and operated by Glendalough Advisory LLC ("Glendalough Advisory," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information only; no professional advice
The content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes about our firm and services. It is not financial, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it does not create a client relationship between you and Glendalough Advisory. A client relationship is formed only by a signed engagement agreement. You should not act or refrain from acting based on Site content without seeking advice specific to your situation.
3. Permitted use
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own business evaluation of our services. You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site without our written permission (good-faith security research reported to security@glendaloughadvisory.com is welcome; see our Security & Trust page);
- use automated means to copy or harvest content or personal information from the Site, or submit false, misleading, or unsolicited commercial content through our forms;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with the Site's operation, or impersonate any person or entity;
- reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, page design, and the Glendalough Advisory name and mark, are owned by or licensed to Glendalough Advisory and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing on the Site grants you any license or right to use any trademark or content except as expressly permitted in these Terms.
5. Submissions
Information you submit through the Site's contact form is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for having any authority needed to share it. Please do not submit confidential financial records, account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal data through the Site; we will provide a secure channel for such material once an engagement begins.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including the scheduling tool used for discovery calls. These are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glendalough Advisory disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is complete or current.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glendalough Advisory and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glendalough Advisory from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Glendalough Advisory regarding use of the Site. They do not alter any engagement agreement between Glendalough Advisory and a client.
